Here are the second wave of bowl picks.
Dec. 26
Motor City Bowl- Florida Atlantic v. Central Michigan
This is like a home game for Central Michigan, so the Chippewas have a serious edge. They also get the edge because they are playing Florida Atlantic. This one is unanimous amongst our experts.
Matt- Central Michigan
Ben- Central Michigan
Mike- Central Michigan
Chris- Central Michigan
Dec. 27
Meineke Car Care Bowl- West Virginia v. North Carolina
This should be a very good matchup, as you can see from our split. The Mountaineers aren't used to playing before New Year's Day anymore after their recent run of success, but they better be ready because Butch Davis and the Heels would love to take the program to the next step and that is a bowl win. This should be an interesting battle between two deep south teams.

Ben- North Carolina
Mike- North Carolina
Chris- West Virginia
Champs Sports Bowl- Wisconsin v. Florida State
I'm the lone wolf. I hate the ACC, yes, even more than the Big-White-Slow-Ten. Florida State clearly has more athletes, but I am going with Bret Beilema and the cold weather Badgers to win a late December game. Clearly, Ben, Mike and Chris think the Noles will roll.
Matt- Wisconsin
Ben- Florida State
Mike- Florida State
Chris- Florida State
Emerald Bowl- Miami v. California
The Bears get to stay home in the Bay Area, which spells instant advantage. They are also playing well to end the season, while Miami comes in limping a little bit. We all think Cal gets that ninth win, ending the season with a decent ranking and a load of hope for next year.
Matt- California
Ben- California
Mike- California
Chris- California
Dec. 28
Independence Bowl- Northern Illinois v. Louisiana Tech
Another split here. I don't like the WAC, so I pick a run of the mill MAC team to win. I'm not sure why Mike picked them. He's probably not even sure. Maybe because Michael Turner went there? I doubt he even knows that.
Matt- Northern Illinois
Ben- Louisiana Tech
Mike- Northern Illinois
Chris- Louisiana Tech
Dec. 29
Papajohns Bowl- NC State v. Rutgers
If there is one thing for certain, we F-ing love Rutgers around here. I don't think Chris realized how much we love them. He'll figure it out. Mike Teel, who will always be an honorary member of our shit-list, is playing amazing and look for the six-game winning streak of the Scarlet Knights to extend to seven at the expense of the Pack's four-game charge. So says three out of our four experts.
Matt- Rutgers
Ben- Rutgers
Mike- Rutgers
Chris- N.C. State
Alamo Bowl- Missouri v. Northwestern
Missouri probably didn't think it would be playing in the Alamo Bowl when the season started. Chris might be on to something because Northwestern is thrilled to be here and the Tigers might be let down. I think the Missouri talent wins out in the end and so do Mike and Ben. But what do we know?
